Just when I thought I got the hang of it, today I came across the OCLC Perceptions of Libraries and Information Resources, which turns out to be another book. So now I'm confused as to whether or not I am to purchase this reading material for this week.
Perhaps I'm not clear on the require text for this class. My understanding is that "Discovering Computers 2008" is the only required book for this course. Am I suppose to purchase the one mentioned for this week and if not how do I get the reading material?

You can find the article by the OCLC in the syllabus. If you go the the announcements page for LIS2600 and click on the tab that says View Last 30 Days it is the first announcement. Click on the syllabus in that announcement and then click on the link for the reading. It should pop right up and you can read it there or print it out. I hope this helps, the article is pretty interesting.
